About the Clinic

The Clinic is rooted in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

Acupuncture

We make a diagnosis based on the principles of TCM and points are chosen along the meridian or organ system which have the most influence on the symptoms. The needles will stay in the body for about 30 min, sometimes more. When needed, mild electric stimulation will be added to the needles to improve the intensity.

Facial Rejuvenation

Facial rejuvenation is a technique based on the theory of acupuncture treatment to improve the energy flow to the face. Special needles are used on the face and other areas on the body to bring out vital energy to the face, thereby reducing or eliminating wrinkles.

Chinese Herbal Medicine

We have more than 100 concentrated single TCM herbs. A customized formula is made for each individual's specific needs.

How Acupuncture Works

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine

The human body has 12 regular meridians and 8 extra meridians. A normal person’s energy is flowing smoothly along the meridians. When the energy flow is imbalanced or blocked at certain points along the meridians, health problems will surface. Acupuncture treatment will restore the balance of the energy flow, thereby regulating the functions of internal organs to resolve the health problems.

According to biomedical research

Acupuncture works through the insertion of a needle to stimulate responses of internal organs or systems, such as the nervous system, vascular system, endocrine system, and immune system. These responses lead to functional adjustments and improvements in the human body.
